# Edit & Manage Team
## In this article, we will show how you can edit and manage your teams and team members at a team distance.
If you are hosting a team race you will most probably at some point manage or edit your registered teams and team members. In this article, we will go through all the things you can do in RaceID Super Admin to manage your teams and team members in a team distance race. ### Add New Team
**Add a new team** is done via your team distance. You navigate in the left side menu to your race and click the distance name where you want to add a new team.
In the top right corner, you will see a big yellow button **"+ Team".** Click that and fill the required fields and save to create a new team.
### Add New Team Member to Team
**To add a new team member** to an existing team you also navigate to the "races" tab in the left side menu and click the actual race. You choose the distance where you want to add the participant by clicking the distance name.
When the team start list appears you click the **"members" tab right** next to the "team" tab. Then you will see all team members on the members start list.
In the top right corner, you will find the **"+ member" button**, click that and fill all needed fields and save.
### Delete Team
**To delete a team** from your start list you once again chose your race from the "race" menu and click the distance name where you want to delete a team.
When entering the start list for that distance you use the **"bin"** in the very left column in the start list to delete a team.
### Delete Team Members from Team
When you have deleted a team **you might also want to delete the team members** from that team. Or if you want to change a team member in an existing team you also **need to delete the team member** that is registered to the team at the moment to be able to add a new one.
**Start by navigating** to the correct race and distance startlist via SuperAdmin, when the team start list is shown move to the **"members" tab** in the start list and make sure you also delete the members by using the action in the very left column.
**If you want to delete a full** team you also need to delete all team members from that team, otherwise, they will still be in the back-end start list in SuperAdmin and in your excel exports but without any connected team.
### Edit Class for Team
**Maybe a team by mistake registered to the wrong class** or you have changed a team member or two in a team that requires them to change in class for the whole team.
**You start by navigating** in the race menu to the correct race and correct distance. When you have clicked the distance name and see the distance start list you will have a column named **"class"** (if you have class activated for your team distance). **To edit class you double-click** the class cell for the actual team.

### Move Team and Team Members Between Distances
**If you have more than one team distance** in your race you might get the question from your registered teams that they want to change distance after their registration was done. **This is possible** for you to manage within the RaceID SuperAdmin.
**The basics** are that you add the team and the team members in the distance they want to be moved to and then you delete the team and team members from the distance they want to be moved from.
**Note** that if you have a difference in registration fees from one distance to another this will not be adjusted when doing this move team between distances.
**If you want** to let the team and the team leader handle the change of distance themselves our suggestion is that you create a **coupon code** with the same value that the team already has paid in the registration fee and ask them to register again for the new distance and use this coupon code. If the new distance is more expensive they will have to pay the extra to be able to register and if the new distance has a cheaper registration fee they will just get a 100% rebated price.
When that registration is done you ask the team leader to contact you and you can delete the team from the old distance that they do not want to participate in.
