In the distance settings there are two different options for registration type: profile or no profile. These are the differences:
Profile: this is the most common choice. The idea with our platform is to be a link between race organizers and participants. If you chose the profile registration type, the participant will automatically create a RaceID profile when signing up to your race, if he/she doesn't already have one. In their profile, participants can find all their events in the same place. Information, receipts etc will be saved on the same platform. They can aslo find new competitions to sign up for, and can easily find what events they have to look forward (and prepare for) to :)
A unique email adress is required for this option - the same email adress can not be used for more than one participant.
To be able to use our services Transfer Registration and Push Notifications, a profile is required.
No Profile: this is mostly used for events / distances for kids, who might not have a personal email adress or who are not signing up for the event themselves. If you have more than one distance to your event, you can chose to have different registration types for different distances, if there are only one for kids for example.
