# How do I refund a single participant?

## Refunds are made by our support team. Here's what to send us.

### Good to know

- You can't refund a participant in Pace Admin yourself. Our support team makes all refunds for you, both for one participant and for everyone in a race.
- Each refund has a fee, usually 2 EUR or 20 SEK per refund.
- Did the participant buy Pace Shield? If the reason is covered, for example injury or illness, the participant applies for the refund themselves. See [Pace Shield refundable booking for participants](https://support.raceid.com/refundable-booking-for-participants?hsLang=en).

### Request a refund

1\. Click **All registrations** (1) and find the participant.

2\. Copy the participant's **ID** (2).

3\. Email [organizer@raceid.com](mailto:organizer@raceid.com) with:

- the name of your race
- the participant's name, email and ID
- if you want to refund the full registration fee or only a part of it

4\. We make the refund and let you know when it's done.
