# Send announcements to participants in the Pace+ app

## Post practical info, reminders and last-minute changes. They appear in the News section of the Pace+ app.

### Good to know

- Announcements appear in the **News** section of the Pace+ app, and participants also get a push notification.
- Write the announcement in your event's preferred language first. You can add more languages afterwards, and participants see it in their own language.
- You find announcements under **Marketing**, not on the race page.

### Create an announcement

1\. Log in to Pace Admin, click **Marketing** in the menu and then **Announcements**.

2\. Under **Select event**, choose your race and click **Add**.

3\. Write a **Title** and a **Body** and click **Submit**.

4\. To add another language, click the pencil icon on the announcement, choose the flag and write the translation.

### Tips

- Drag announcements to change their order. Click the bin icon to delete one.
- For information that doesn't change, such as travel info or rules, use **Race Content Pages** under **Marketing**.
- Want to add info to the email participants get when they register? See [Add your own content to the confirmation email](https://support.raceid.com/confirmation-e-mail?hsLang=en).
